Toni-Ann McGivan, a 19-year-old Jamaican woman from the rural communities of Seaforth and Curtis Bottom, dreams of making a global impact. Art, music, and graphic design are her passions, and she uses her talents to not only express herself but also earn an income.
Toni-Ann’s life has been shaped by resilience. Raised in various family structures, she faced challenges like her mother’s illness and lack of financial stability. Despite these obstacles, she persevered, maintaining an honor roll average for most of her schooling.
Toni-Ann has a big heart and a desire to help others. She envisions creating a haven for young people in her community, offering guidance, career support, and more.

Chandis Hamilton
Chandis attended the Port Antonio High School in Portland, Jamaica, and later migrated to Chicago, where she completed her secondary education at the Curie Metropolitan High School. She graduated with honors in August 2021 and has been a scholarship recipient at Spelman College since September 2021, where she is pursuing a first degree in Psychology. She is expected to graduate in May 2025.
