Pathways to Excellence (PTE):
EDUCATION
Empower Black & Brown Dreams: Bridge the Gap to Higher Education.
Whether you’re a high school senior, a recent graduate, or already navigating your college journey, we’re here to remove financial, social, and mental barriers so you can focus on achieving your dreams.
Our Promise:
- Financial Support: We cover tuition, fees, books, meals, housing, and travel costs, tailored to your needs.
- Mentorship and Guidance: Connect with experienced mentors and advisors who understand your unique challenges and aspirations.
- Community and Belonging: Find a supportive network of peers and alumni who are here to cheer you on every step of the way.
The PTE Program offers two avenues of support
Students receive one-time scholarships, academic resources, and mentorship to start and complete post-secondary education.
The Bridge to Destiny Fund:
- Are you a New York college student in need of a little extra financial boost?
- Receive a one-time grant of up to $4000, potentially renewable each year.
- Access additional financial and non-financial support throughout the year.
Through the DAP, we facilitate full or partial third-party sponsorship of a student’s tuition or room and board costs.
The Destiny Adoption Project:
- Need comprehensive, long-term financial assistance?
- Get matched with a sponsor who commits to covering your tuition and/or other expenses for at least two semesters.
- Shine on our website as a featured student ready for “adoption.”

I remember waiting for someone to show up during high school, but no one did.
I am incredibly grateful that Adopt A Destiny showed up just when I thought I could hope no longer. I am thankful for the assistance and ongoing support I need to succeed.
[...] All this, my progress, would not have been possible without the sponsorship I got to fund my studies.
