As per the U.S. Embassy in Barbados, The Eastern Caribbean, and the OECS, the theme will be “Honoring Our Journey, Shaping our Future.” The non-profit Institute of Caribbean Studies (ICS), headquartered in Washington, DC, works with Caribbean diaspora associations in twenty states to organize events in areas where Caribbean people are the majority. Due to the lingering effects of the Coronavirus pandemic, this year’s events will be accessible online and offline.
