The Steady Start Pilot
Small by Choice. Steady by Design.
We are testing a 16-week coordination model designed to walk alongside women as they move from the hope of an interview to the stability of a steady paycheck. Readiness is rarely the problem; it’s the transition that is fragile. We provide the light, consistent structure needed to ensure that once a door opens, it stays open.Readiness Is Rarely the Problem.
Many women are already doing the hard work.
They complete training.
Show up to interviews.
Prepare for change.
But the transition into steady employment can still feel fragile when transportation shifts, childcare changes, housing instability, or emotional overwhelm begin to collide all at once.
Meet Vonetta: Why the transition Matters
Imagine Vonetta. She is a striver. She has finished her training, reclaimed her confidence, and is standing at the threshold of a new career. Vonetta doesn’t need “rescuing”—she has the talent and the drive.
But Vonetta knows that the first month of a new job is a whirlwind of shifting childcare, new bus routes, and the quiet pressure of getting it right. The Steady Start Path exists to be the companion Vonettadeserves during those first 16 weeks—solving the small hurdles before they become mountains, so her hard-earned opportunity becomes a lasting career.
We believe the most important work happens after the handshake.

This Is the Beginning, Not the Finish Line.
Employment is the first pathway we are testing through the Precious Pearls vision.
Over time, we hope to expand into broader areas of support that affect a woman’s ability to remain steady — including education, housing transitions, emotional support, and long-term stability.
Because every woman’s journey looks different.
Stability Changes More Than Employment
It restores confidence.
Creates breathing room.
Strengthens families.
And reminds women they do not have to navigate transition alone.
Every lesson from this pilot will help shape what comes next.
